Sooo I was doing my daily tumblr scroll and after reading a post from @jgelacio, my speedracer(o= , i decided to add onto what she wrote. This is to all the homies that always asked “how we met” or “how long we liked each other.” It pretty much started after school when I kicked it at the band tables. One day we just happened to really notice each other. I always thought she was really pretty but i was always scared to try and talk to her. Little did i know that she thought i was kyoote but she was too scared to talk to me. Time passed and then we happen to be in the same tagalog class for Mr. Zara. Like she said “we literally sat next to each other in tagalog class during my junior year and we barely talked… maybe like 3 small conversations and an “Uhh, did you take notes yesterday?”… which was very true. Then more time passed and I graduated. After that, I honestly had the biggest regret in my life for not trying to get to know her. Now more time passed and it was her senior year. I would occasionally see her when i would watch drumline practice or go to competitions. Once you’re in band you’re pretty much always in band. But i always thought, “nothing will ever happen between us.” After all that, one of our homie’s Bianca had a birthday kickit and we saw each other and talked a little more. Then her prom came and her homies asked my homies and I to watch the hotel room until they got there. That night I told myself “its now or never, i’ll never know until i try to get to know her” soo i tried and we ended up washing the dishes together and talking a little hahaha gooood conversations. A couple more days passed and i texted her. After that we ended up texting and talking to each other everyday. It was just basic talk like, “How’s your day been?” or “Hey what’re you up to?” Then when summer hit and our two groups had a bonfire. When it was all done everyone was going home and we happen to be driving next each other on Miramar road. We raced a little and went our seperate ways home. All of a sudden we texted each other at the same time “My bad speedracer!” which was how the name speedracer happened. After that we started talking more to each other and started “talking talking.” More time passed and we had a kickit at my house with everyone. After everyone left, I texted her asking “soooo, when are we gonna kickit”… not even a minute later she replies “right now! im down!” We ended up going to the View at 12am and had goood talks until like 4 in the morning. Later during the summer her girls wanted to grunion hunting in Coronado and she asks me if i would like to come. Of course I say yes and another good night! More time passed and we were still talking but i thought to myself “we both like each other, and we connect shooo well. It’s time i ask her to be my girlfriend.” Sooooo, I pick her up from work and we grab a bite to eat at in n out. My original plan was to ask her out at the View cause thats where we first legitly hung out but… plans got fucc’d up since it was cold. I didnt mind that plan got messed up. So then i ended up asking her in front of in n out. We were sitting in my car talking and then i pull out roses from the back seat and say “Sooo, we’ve been talking for a while and i think it would be nice if we were official speedracers…” l look at her and she has theee biggest smile on her face and says “I’d like that.” Then bammm official on August 20, 2011<3. Well now more time has passed which bring us up to today. This Friday is our 8 months with many more to come and I know what some people are gonna say when I say this but i really do love this girl ! I love you Jeanine Alegado Gelacio ! some people might say “ohhh 8 months? thats too soon to be in love.” But we are mature adults, we talked all this over and have establish that we love each other. No one knows what we have so who gives them the right to challenge that. But anyways, I love you Jeanine Alegado Gelacio ! My Speedracer <3 ! Definitly one of a kind, top of the line. My first, last and only love. No one makes me this happy and I’m soo sooo blessed to have her in my life. I always promise to make you happy and love you. For the people that do know me, they know me as “Ryan the thug, the one that doesnt show emotions or feelings” but I’m no thug ahaha im a nice person. I just may come off like that but this is the real me haha. This was a long post and probably wont make no sense… I probably left out some things, but yuuup, this pretty much sums it up (=
